Kintsugi Clay Pot Loss Project
Fri, 03/08/2024 - 9:29amStudents in Sociology 480: Death and Dying with Mrs. Kahanek, recently completed a Kintsugi Clay Pot Loss Project. This project serves as a powerful reminder that life is not about remaining flawless and unbroken. It's about acknowledging our vulnerabilities, embracing the healing process, and finding the strength and beauty that emerges from the cracks. It encourages us to view loss not as an ending, but as a transformative experience that can shape our story into a stronger one. It reminds us that life after loss is not about erasing the past, but about integrating it into our story with resilience, acceptance, and even newfound beauty.
If you would like to learn more about about this project as well as grief, loss, and bereavement; Sociology 480 is being taught in Fall 2024 by Mrs. Kahanek, and Ms. Loli.
